We mainly operate in Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas. The Asado Spitbraai concept originated from Argentina. The family tradition was initiated by my grandparents Pedro & Matilde who were born in Argentina and grew up with Asado Spitbraai. "Asado" translates to “Meat from the Spit”. Upon return to South Africa they introduced this method of Spitbraai to us with huge success. They currently hold the record for the most lamb prepared at the same time, which is 50 at the Montague Wine Festival. Today their sons and grandsons are still preparing meat the Asado way. Since I moved from Cape Town to the Eastern Cape, we decided that we would love to share this special experience with everybody that is looking for something unique.
